Happy November! You guys, I can’t believe it’s already that time of year! The holiday season is finally upon us which means cooler weather, tasty food (+drinks) and tons of holiday parties and get togethers. This season makes me so happy. Everyone ( for the most part) is in a such good mood spreading their holiday cheer. I swear its contagious.
The other day, I received my first holiday card. It was an invitation to a Friendsgiving and you bet I RSVP’ed that ish! Coming from an Immigrant family, we never celebrated Thanksgiving. My family couldn’t grasp the tradition of having a turkey dinner. They didn’t even know what a turkey was until they came to the United States…lol. It wasn’t until a few years ago when Shawn and I started dating when I regularly celebrated Thanksgiving! This year is a special year because my sister in law is hosting Thanksgiving for the first time. For this special occasion, I am going all out and sending formal invites to our closets friends and family.
I am very excited to be partnering with Basic Invite this year for our invites! I kid you not, when I saw the color options available on the website, I had such a hard time deciding!
The best part about Basic Invite is the instant gratification. If you obsess over the little things (like me) or are indecisive, you have the option to immediately preview your custom card! How cool is that? I had a hard time narrowing my options so I decided to print out a few samples. This way I am able to feel the cards and make sure every detail is perfect. In my sample batch, I ordered a few cards with and without the foil detailing. I personally love foil on cards, they just elevate the cards and make them look/ feel so luxurious! I can’t wait to go crazy with the foil detailing for my wedding invites.
Right now, Basic Invite is offering 15% off with a coupon code: 15FF51 to all of my readers! To check out their abundance of holiday cards online and Christmas party invites, click on the links provided. I am already planning on ordering our custom Christmas cards!
Thank you so much for reading! Do you celebrate Thanksgiving? What is your favorite dish? Let me know in the comments below.
*Thank you Basic Invite for sponsoring this post. As always, all options are my own.
